He made his Broadway debut in the musical Romance/Romance in 1988. He acted in the films Wild in the Streets (1968) and The Brady Bunch Movie (1995). In 2022, he appeared on The Masked Singer, and appeared on season 32 of the ABC reality competition series Dancing with the Stars in 2023.
